Meet Fred Leonard
Chief Executive Officer – Fred Leonard
Mr. Fred Leonard was appointed by the Board of Directors to become the Chief Executive Officer of Integrity in June 2020. Having worked closely with our founders during the formation of Integrity, he was one of the first partners and contributed two facilities (totaling 119 beds) in the first acquisition tranche in 2016. He was instrumental in moving to a Board Managed company thru the formation of our Board of Directors in 2018 and helped form our Executive Committee in 2019. He has served as an Integrity Board Member, Chairman of the Integrity’s Finance Committee, and a member of the Board’s Executive Committee.
Fred’s educational experience and degrees include an undergraduate degree in accounting from Bryant University (RI), Master’s in Business Administration - Harvard Business School (MA), and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology - Francis Marion University (SC). He is also a Licensed Mental Health Professional (Therapist/LPC) since 1996 and a Licensed NC Administrator.
With over 44 years of business experience and 23 years of assisted living experience as both an owner and administrator, Fred brings to Integrity a unique mix of corporate and small business management experience. As a serial entrepreneur, Fred began his assisted living experience in 1996 and he has owned/operated and leased/operated six facilities with over 500 beds.
Mr. Leonard’s prior business background includes both large corporate and small business experience including financial management, information systems technology, manufacturing, and high acuity mental health services. Having worked for two of the “Big Four” international accounting firms Peat, Marwick, Mitchell (now KPMG) and Ernst & Ernst (now EY), Fred is uniquely qualified to help lead our company and improve our profitability, streamline our management processes, and successfully acquire additional facilities as defined by our Board of Directors.
